Biomedical Sciences Students Visit Noor Lab Laboratory to Enhance Practical Learning

On Sunday, December 15, 2024, first-year students from the Biomedical Sciences Department at Cihan University-Erbil, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Hero Ismael Mohammed, visited Noor Lab laboratory in Erbil as part of their Human Biology practical course. The visit aimed at familiarizing students with laboratory equipment and the processes involved in conducting medical tests.

The students were warmly received by Mr. Ismael Khalil Abdulaziz, the laboratory supervisor. He began by providing an overview of the laboratory’s daily operations and the various diagnostic tests performed there. Mr. Ismael then gave the students a detailed introduction to the lab’s equipment, highlighting their functions and capabilities. The session also included a hands-on demonstration of general blood tests, during which he explained the testing procedures and analyzed the results with the students.

At the conclusion of the visit, Assistant Lecturer Hero Ismael Mohammed expressed gratitude to Mr. Ismael for facilitating this enriching experience. In turn, Mr. Ismael wished the students success in their studies and conveyed his willingness to collaborate on future initiatives that benefit both the students and the broader community.
