As part of its community and development initiatives, and in line with the objectives of the “Zakat Al-Alim” Foundation, the Department of Business Administration at Cihan University–Erbil donated a collection of school supplies to Rizgari Educational Complex on October 12, 2026.

The initiative was carried out under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Hawkar Qasim Pirdawod, Head of the aforementioned department, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Qusay Al-Salame. A number of students from the department participated in delivering school supplies, including schoolbags, notebooks, and pens, to the students there.

The university delegation was warmly received by Mrs. Parez Jawhar Mohammed Agha Mirgasori, the director of the complex, and the teaching staff. They praised the initiative as a positive example of constructive cooperation between the university and educational institutions. They also emphasized the importance of such activities in supporting students and strengthening the relationship between the university and educational institutions.

Such initiatives reflect Cihan University–Erbil’s role as an active partner in local community development. Additionally, it paves the way for future joint activities aimed at strengthening the spirit of cooperation and developing closer relationships between educational institutions and the community.
