Business Administration Department Organizes Friendly Football Match with Catholic University

On Sunday, February 15, 2026, the Department of Business Administration at Cihan University–Erbil, in coordination with Catholic University in Erbil, organized a friendly football match at the Catholic University Stadium. The match took place between the Business Administration students’ football team from Cihan University–Erbil and the football team representing Catholic University in Erbil.

The Business Administration team was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Hevi Mohammed Qadir. Upon arrival, the team was warmly received by Professor Dr. Ghaith Al-Abdullah, Vice President of Catholic University in Erbil. Throughout the match, both teams displayed strong spirit and enthusiasm, demonstrating their skills while creating multiple attacking opportunities.

The match ended in a 4–4 draw. Beyond being an enjoyable sporting event, it strengthened social relationships and promoted cooperation between students from the two institutions.

At the end of the match, Professor Dr. Ghaith Al-Abdullah and Assistant Lecturer Hevi Mohammed Qadir congratulated both teams for their fair play and positive sporting spirit.
