Business Administration Department Students Conduct a Scientific Visit to the Directorate of Crime Combat Central Erbil Office

As part of the continuous efforts of the Department of Business Administration at Cihan University–Erbil to organize practical activities for students, a scientific visit was arranged on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. The visit was conducted for fourth-stage students to the Directorate of Crime Combat Central Erbil Office. It was designed mainly to familiarize students with the administrative and operational management of the directorate.

The visit was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Raz Azad Jalal. Upon arrival, the students were warmly received by Colonel Haitham Jirjis, Director of the Directorate of Crime Combat Central Erbil Office, and Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Sabah, Head of the Information Division.

During the visit, Colonel Haitham Jirjis delivered a seminar explaining the duties and activities of the directorate, its working mechanisms, methods of crime detection, procedures for seizing vehicles, and how criminal cases are handled. As part of the visit, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Sabah guided the students through the administrative departments, including the Information and Entry–Exit Divisions. He also explained that the directorate generally uses the DMS system to manage its administrative work.

At the end of the visit, the scientific tour provided an opportunity for students to ask questions directly to the directorate. The supervising lecturer later expressed sincere appreciation to all staff members of the directorate for providing this valuable learning opportunity for the students.
