Business Administration Department Students Conducted a Scientific Visit to Fabya Company

On Monday, February 17, 2025, a group of second-year students from the Department of Business Administration at Cihan University-Erbil conducted a scientific visit to Fabya Company in Erbil under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Raz Azad Jalal. The visit provided an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical insights into the company’s operations and production processes.

The students and their lecturer were warmly received by Ihsan Yassen Hawrami. During the visit, Mr. Peshawa Ahmad, Director of Strategic and Business Development, provided an overview of the company’s activities. He explained how raw materials are sourced from China, Iran, and Turkey and then processed to produce cartons, which are subsequently sold to other companies. He also highlighted that their business model follows a business-to-business (B2B) approach and emphasized the importance of working with multiple suppliers to mitigate risks.

Additionally, Mr. Safin Ahmad, Assistant Manager of Production, introduced the students to the company’s technological infrastructure. He explained that the company utilizes the SAP system for enterprise resource planning and integrates it with EFI and BHC systems, both of which are widely used in production companies.

This visit provided the students with valuable practical knowledge of the interdepartmental functions and processes of a successful manufacturing company. By observing real-world business operations, they were able to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and industry practices, further enriching their academic learning experience.
