Business Administration Department Students Organized a Scientific Visit to the Directorate of Roads and Bridges in Erbil

On Thursday, December 19, 2024, a group of first-year students from the Department of Business Administration at Cihan University-Erbil took part in an educational visit to the Directorate of Roads and Bridges in Erbil. This visit was organized under the supervision of Dr. Muslim Najib Zidan and Assistant Lecturer Dlovan Wrya Hamid Amin.

The students and supervising lecturers were warmly welcomed by Mr. Akram Ali Abdulla, Director of Administration. They were later guided through several departments, including the Administration, Accounting, and Statistics Departments. Mr. Akram then highlighted the management strategies and roles of the Statistics Department including other departments. Focusing on the departments’ projects, he provided information about their tenders and the allocated budget from the Accounting Department to repair the damaged roads.

This educational visit increased the students’ understanding of the directorates’ operations and their different functions. The supervising lecturers extended their appreciation to the directorate staff for providing the students with this enriching experience.
