Business Administration Students Visit the General Directorate of Institutes and Training
To develop their practical skills and broaden their understanding of various professional fields, fourth-year students from the Business Administration Department at Cihan University–Erbil conducted an educational visit to the General Directorate of Institutes and Training on Sunday, January 25, 2026. The visit was organized under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Hevi Mohammed Qadir and aimed to familiarize students with the administrative systems of both governmental and non-governmental institutes.
Upon arrival, the students were warmly received by Mr. Mohammed Khidr Qadir, Director General of Institutes and Training. At the beginning of the activity, he emphasized the importance of individuals in society and their role in building an aware and educated community. He also introduced the main sections of the institute, explaining that it consists of four departments: Sports, Computer Studies, English Language, and Fine Arts.
Mr. Mohammed Khidr further explained the conditions and procedures for admission to governmental institutes, noting that applicants must have completed the ninth grade and must not exceed 20 years of age. He added that the children of martyrs are exempt from these requirements and may apply freely to their preferred departments.
During the visit, he stressed the importance of choosing a specialization based on personal interest and passion, highlighting its significant role in individual growth and societal development.
At the end of the visit, Mr. Mohammed Khidr expressed his appreciation to the supervising lecturer and the Business Administration Department for organizing this valuable opportunity, which enabled students to gain firsthand knowledge of institutional work. He concluded by emphasizing that all sectors of society are interconnected and require cooperation and coordination to build a knowledgeable, skilled, and experienced generation for the future.
