Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Cihan Universities met the prime minister’s advisor for investment affairs

On Monday, November 22nd, 2021, a delegation of the Kurdistan Investors’ Union met Rebaz Hamlan, Kurdistan Region prime minister’s assistant, secretary of the Supreme Investment Council, and the prime minister’s advisor for investment affairs.

     During the meeting, attended by Dr. Nawzad Haji Yahya Bajgr, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Cihan universities, several important issues were discussed. The economic status and investment situation in the Kurdistan Region were among the main discussions at this meeting.

     At the meeting, the importance of providing job opportunities and funding small projects for young generation and students was emphasized. Another part of the meeting was dedicated to activating Investors’ Union affairs, processing their jobs, reducing routines in the organizations of Kurdistan Region Government and implementing the one-window policy, which are going to be carried out by Dr. Mohammad Shukri, chairman of the board of investment.

     At the end of the meeting, the prime minister’s assistant promised to resolve the problems facing investors as soon as possible, as an effort to place more importance on the economy of Kurdistan and strengthen the Kurdistan region’s economic infrastructure.
