Cihan University-Erbil Announces Master’s Study Opportunities in European Countries for Its Graduates
In participation in the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference on Higher Education, Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, held a crucial meeting with officials from RESCHIP4EU. The meeting aimed to secure master’s study opportunities in European countries for Cihan University-Erbil graduates.
This meeting followed several prior initiatives by Cihan University-Erbil with the program officials. Subsequently, Cihan University-Erbil made a significant stride, successfully leveraging the research scholarship for the EU Project program to secure tuition-free master’s study placements for its graduates in specific disciplines.
The program, financially supported by the European Union under the Digital Europe Program, aims to comprehensively advance EU higher education in the field of modern embedded systems design, encompassing silicon design, System-on-Chip (SoC) creation, intelligent platforms, informatics, and cybersecurity.
Details of RESCHIP4EU
RESCHIP4EU offers a comprehensive double-degree master’s programme. This initiative is robustly supported by nine higher education institutions across five countries, in collaboration with prominent global industrial companies and organizations, including SEMI Europe and ST Microelectronics.
Application Requirements
To apply for this program, prospective candidates must click (RESCHIP4EU// EIT Digital) and meet the following requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, or related fields.
- Possess an English language proficiency certificate (e.g., IELTS or TOEFL).
- Have an official academic transcript, a curriculum vitae (CV), and recommendation letters.
- Applicants must visit the Directorate of International Relations Office at Cihan University-Erbil Presidency for facilitation and expedited processing of their applications.
- Applicants must submit all the required documents (e.g., academic transcript, English language proficiency certificate, CV, and recommendation letters) on Sunday, June 1, 2025.
- Application deadline: June 2, 2025.
