Cihan University-Erbil Annual Football Championship: First Round Highlights Media Department and Law Department teams

On Tuesday, January 21, 2025, the Media Department team triumphed over the Medical Laboratory Analysis Department team in a match held under the supervision of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. This was the fifth match of the first round of the football championship between the scientific departments of Cihan University – Erbil. The game concluded with a 2-0 victory for the Media Department team. Both teams displayed exceptional sportsmanship in front of an enthusiastic crowd of students, creating a lively and fully sporting atmosphere.

In the sixth match of the first round, the Law Department team secured a win against the Architecture Engineering Department team.

It is worth noting that each year, the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Cihan University – Erbil, under the supervision of the University President, organizes various sports courses for students across the scientific departments. The football championship is one such annual event, providing students from different departments with the opportunity to compete and showcase their skills.
