Cihan University-Erbil Approves a Tuition Discount Program to Support Sibling Students

To enhance educational opportunities and support students financially, Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, has approved a 25% tuition discount for students with siblings enrolled at the university.

As outlined in official decree No. (954), issued on February 23, 2025, this decision was made with the approval of the President of the Board of Trustees of Cihan Universities. The discount applies to students across all levels and departments for the 2024-2025 academic year and will remain in effect until the completion of their studies.

According to the decree, 74 students have already benefited from this initiative, with their names officially documented as part of the university’s financial support policies. In addition, Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Delawi has approved tuition reductions of varying percentages for 432 first-year students.

These initiatives reflect Cihan University-Erbil’s commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment, easing financial burdens, and promoting academic excellence and student success.
