Cihan University-Erbil Assistant Lecturer Conducts Scientific Visit to the Fuzhou Shipbuilding Museum in China
As part of the ‘Development of the Intelligent Construction Industry for Belt and Road Countries’ program, Assistant Lecturer Lana Shahab Ahmed from the Department of Architectural Engineering at Cihan University-Erbil participated in a scientific field visit to the Fuzhou Shipbuilding Museum in China on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
During the visit, which brought together an international academic delegation, Assistant Lecturer Lana Shahab explored the museum’s various sections, gaining firsthand insight into its architectural concepts and interior design principles. Experts provided detailed scientific and historical explanations of how historical heritage has been integrated with modern technology throughout the museum’s design. The visit also provided a valuable opportunity to network with specialists from the Fujian Interior Office and discuss potential international collaborations in the design of museums and monumental structures.
