Cihan University-Erbil Facilitates Its Students’ Participation in International Scientific Conferences

Following Cihan University-Erbil`s strategy of supporting students in improving their skills and knowledge in various fields, a group of Dentistry College students and lecturers was recently sent to Baghdad to participate in the “International Conference of Dental Colleges in Iraq”.

During the conference`s panels, workshops, and sessions, the students were introduced to advanced research and the latest trends in the dental industry. In addition, they showed their interest and skills to the conference participants by asking questions and making insightful comments. The conference was a good chance for them to negotiate their opinions with other attendees and make relations with local and international professionals and academics. The conference motivated the students to feel more responsible in their professional and academic lives and to be aware of developments in their field.

In the meantime, the conference organizers held an exhibition of dental and therapeutic equipment. The delegation of Cihan University-Erbil, including students and lecturers of the College of Dentistry, visited different sections of the exhibition. The students closely explored the latest equipment for dental examination, restoration, and treatment.

Moreover, some students of Cihan University-Erbil, who participate in the scientific events and completed courses at top universities of the world, emphasized that Cihan University-Erbil continuously supports its students to improve their scientific level, and ensures that they are well educated to guarantee a promising future for themselves.
