Cihan University – Erbil Has Started the First Session of Its Fifth Joint International Conference on Administrative and Financial Sciences
Within the activities of Cihan University – Erbil in hosting the Fifth Joint International Conference on Administrative and Financial Sciences in cooperation with the Polish University of Lodz and the University of Mosul in Iraq, with the Managing the Commercial Landscape with Advanced Innovations and Solutions slogan, the first session was held at the Conference Hall of the university on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.
The session included several studies that discussed business and management aspects. It was chaired by Prof. Dr. Muayad Ibrahim Ahmed from the University of Mosul and the rapporteur of the session, Assistant Lecturer Azwar Mahdi Saleh from Cihan University – Erbil, that innovative solutions for managing the modern commercial landscape were reviewed.
The first research paper, presented by Musallam Najib Zaidan, explored the factors affecting employee motivation and performance in SMEs, in Iraq.
On the other hand, the second research dealt with the relationship between marginal benefit, productivity, and profitability in service organizations. The researcher Dr. Samir Hamdi presented a study on the impact of marginal utility and productivity on profitability in organizations that provide services.
This was followed by research on the impact of information quality, compatibility, and comparative advantage on the adoption of business intelligence among managers and owners of SMEs, where Dr. Alaa Saad Jameel discussed the main factors affecting the adoption of business intelligence tools in SMEs.
This was followed by a research discussion on green basics: the intersection of childhood education with sustainable human resource development. In this context, Assistant Lecturer Zainab Yousef presented a study on the role of early education in promoting sustainable human resource development.
The session also included a research discussion on Strategic Leadership and Artificial Intelligence: Using SEM to Analyze the Relationship between Strategic Leadership and Sustainable Development – a field study for health institutions, where Dr. Henn Kazim presented this study, and the relationship between strategic leadership and sustainable development in health institutions was analyzed.
The session included research on the impact of artificial intelligence as an intermediate variable in the relationship between agile leadership and the quality of human resources. Dr. Shehab Ahmed Khader discussed the role of artificial intelligence as a mediating factor in this relationship.
Subsequently, intensive discussion sessions were held, where participants exchanged ideas and built professional networks with their colleagues. The session emphasized the importance of international cooperation in promoting research and providing practical solutions to the challenges faced by administrative and financial sciences.
The success of this session is a testament to the importance of interdisciplinary research and international collaboration in addressing complex issues in the world of business and management, as Cihan University-Erbil continues to play a pivotal role in promoting academic excellence and innovation in the region.
