Cihan University-Erbil makes arrangements to send an additional 17 students to Poland for the purpose of a training course.
According the joint agreements between Cihan University-Erbil and Polish universities to exchange knowledge and participate in training courses; Cihan University-Erbil arranged to send 17 more students to Poland to participate in a summer training course in that country.
In this regard, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, president of Cihan University-Erbil delivered a speech attended by Vice Presidents, Heads of Departments, and students. After extending heartfelt congratulations to the students and their families, he said: “The fruitful collaborations forged through our meetings have resulted in the signing of joint agreements with several prestigious universities across Poland.” He added that the students’ visit to the country is a direct consequence of that preceding visit.
The President of Cihan University-Erbil said: “This visit stands as a significant academic milestone for the students, who are chosen among the students of Cihan University-Erbil. It is important for you to recognize that each one of you represent not only Iraq as a whole but also the Kurdistan Region specifically. Furthermore, your conduct directly reflects the University’s standing and the reputation of your country. Hence, it is imperative that you maintain an elevated standard and exemplify true excellence as students.”
In another part of his speech, which was delivered on Sunday, June 18th,2023, in the VIP Hall of the University, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi emphasized the imperative for students to adhere diligently to all university guidelines, assuring them of continuous communication and support. While acknowledging the undeniable cultural and scientific advantages of their visit, Prof. Dr. Amjad underscored that their primary objective is to use this visit for scientific advancements and contribute the finest achievements to their homeland. Furthermore, he affirmed the University actively monitor their conduct, receiving daily reports encompassing the fields of academia, administration, and media.
At the end of his speech, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi said “this study will provide you with the opportunity to obtain scholarships in the future to complete higher education, especially a master’s degree, so we are proud of you and hope you meet our expectations,”.

In line with this vision, a select of 17 students was chosen based on rigorous scientific criteria. Accompanied by two esteemed lecturers, they will embark on a two-week journey, marked by training sessions and a myriad of other scientific and cultural engagements within the host country.
This year, two additional groups of students from Cihan University-Erbil are scheduled to embark on educational and training courses at the esteemed universities in Poland.
