Cihan University – Erbil organizes a training course for its teaching staff in statistical analysis

Within a series of training courses organized by Cihan University – Erbil to develop the skills and capabilities of the teaching staff and employees, a training course was organized in statistical analysis using the SPSS program.

The course started on Saturday, 29/5/2021 in one of the laboratories of the Business Administration Department at the university, with the participation of twenty four teachers and employees from various scientific departments.

This course is held for six days, three hours per day, and aims to familiarize the participants with the importance of statistical methods and to provide them with the necessary skills in statistical analysis.

Dr. Hawkar Qassem Berdaoud, Head of the Business Administration Department, and Dr. Qussay Hamid Al-Salami, one of the department’s teachers, participate in the training course. The participants are trained theoretically and practically on the use of the SPSS program in collecting, entering and analyzing data.

Annually, several scientific courses are held at Cihan University – Erbil for all the teachers and employees of the scientific departments in several fields for the purpose of developing their skills and abilities using modern scientific methods and achieving success in the field of higher education, and in this context this course was opened.
