Cihan University-Erbil Participated in a Scientific Symposium Held by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research

The Vice President of Cihan University-Erbil for Administrative and Students Affairs Assistant Professor Abdul-Sattar Karim Saeed, and the Head of the Law Department, Dr. Omar Zubair Sheikhani, represented by Cihan University-Erbil, participated in a scientific symposium organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The symposium focused on combating narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and their impact on human health. The event was attended by the Minister of Higher Education, several university presidents, members of the Supreme Committee to combat the use of psychotropic substances, consultants, general managers, and numerous university professors and specialists in this field.

During the symposium, H.E. Minister Dr. Aram Muhammad Qadir, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of the subject and outlining mechanisms for reducing the spread of Psychotropic substances in educational institutions.

Following the minister’s speech, the seminar program was divided into two parts, allowing participants the opportunity to make observations and proposals aimed at reducing the prevalence of psychotropic stimulants in society at large
