Cihan University-Erbil Signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Palacky University, Olomouc, Czech Republic

In the continuation of the globalization initiatives of Cihan University-Erbil with international universities, particularly European universities, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on between Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, the President of Cihan University-Erbil and Prof. MUDr. Martin Prochazka, Rector of Palacky University.

The agreement included several areas of cooperation between the two universities at the university level in general and the college and departmental levels in particular. According to the agreement, the two sides agreed to academic staff, researcher, administrator, and student exchanges between the universities based on a Bilateral agreement and the Erasmus Plus Mobility Program, and to hold several joint academic conferences. Another point of the agreement was to provide opportunities for master’s and doctoral studies at Palacky University.

The agreement also emphasized several other crucial points regarding awarding joint degrees and providing opportunities for students of both sides to participate in training courses and study tours. Overall, signing the agreement is the first step toward implementing joint initiatives.
