Cihan University-Erbil Student Participates in the Second Iraqi Conference on Anesthesia and Intensive Care
A third-year student from the Department of Anesthesia Techniques at Cihan University-Erbil actively participated in the Second Iraqi Conference on Anesthesia and Intensive Care (ICAIC 2025). It was held on Friday, September 26, 2025, in Baghdad, and convened leading academics and medical professionals to discuss advancements in the field.
The conference activities, which took place at the Al-Abrar Cultural Complex in Al-Jadriya, Baghdad, drew a significant number of distinguished academic and medical figures specializing in anesthesia and intensive care from across Iraq and the wider region. Sazan Mohammed Fattah, a third-year student in the Department of Anesthesia Techniques at Cihan University-Erbil, attended various sessions. Her participation facilitated engagement with the latest scientific developments in anesthesia and intensive care, as well as discussions on contemporary techniques aligned with international medical standards. The activities also featured numerous scientific meetings and discussions held concurrently with the main conference agenda.
Organized under the auspices of the Syndicate of Medical and Health Professions and in collaboration with Al-Shumoukh Company and several pioneering manufacturers of medical equipment and supplies, the conference provided a vital platform for knowledge exchange. Cihan University-Erbil’s contribution, through student and academic staff from the Department of Anesthesia Techniques, significantly enriched the scientific sessions. This engagement underscores the university’s steadfast commitment to scientific and research activities and its dedication to serving the academic and healthcare communities. The conference concluded with the awarding of certificates of appreciation and participation to Cihan University–Erbil and other participating entities.
