Cihan University-Erbil students arrived in Poland with the purpose of pursuing a whole study course
Five students from Cihan University-Erbil have arrived in Poland to pursue a study course. Dr. Ameena Sabah Mahmood, the Head of the Department of Medical Biology at Cihan University-Erbil, sent them off from Erbil International Airport, and they arrived in Warsaw on Thursday, October 12, 2023.
In the preceding days, these five students, namely Maryam Mahmoud Younis, a fourth-year student in the Department of Architectural Engineering, Ahmad Jabar Hassan, a second-year student in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Elaaf Salar Ismail and Mohammed Khalid Ibrahim, both second-year students in the Department of Medical Microbiology, and Hawre Amanj Majid, a third-year student in the Department of Biomedical, were selected based on a set of scientific criteria by both Warsaw University of Life Sciences, SGGW, Poland and Cihan University-Erbil.
The students will commence their studies in their respective fields at the scientific departments of Warsaw University of Life Sciences, SGGW, Poland .During their stay in Poland, they aim to enhance their scientific expertise in the fields of biomedical, microbiological, medical, architectural engineering, and nutrition and dietetics, as they work towards completing their courses. This initiative reflects the collaborative efforts of Cihan University-Erbil with international institutions in facilitating student exchange, sharing scientific knowledge, and fostering humanitarian development.
