Cihan University-Erbil Students Embark on a Scientific and Cultural Journey in Poland
As part of fostering academic and cultural exchange, a delegation of students from Cihan University-Erbil, currently completing a study course at the University of Lodz in Poland, embarked on a scientific and cultural journey on Monday, October 27, 2025.
Students Seedra Nihad Isshaq, Raya Ameer Aljabbar, and Avin Raad Mohammed, all fourth-year students from the Business Administration Department at Cihan University–Erbil, joined their peers from the University of Lodz and other international students for a visit to the Arboretum SGGW in Rogów. This arboretum is one of Poland’s largest and richest botanical gardens, housing a diverse array of rare and fascinating plant species.
During the visit, Cihan University–Erbil students had the opportunity to exchange ideas and learn about various cultures. The trip also allowed them to explore the natural beauty of the arboretum, study unique plant species, and enjoy a serene environment away from the urban bustle. The students gained valuable knowledge about the region’s ecological system and biology.
On the sidelines of the excursion, the students deepened their understanding of each other’s cultures and heritage by sharing stories and experiences. A warm and friendly atmosphere filled the trip, making it a day rich in cultural exchange and enhancing the educational and social experience for all participants.
These students are completing their study course in Poland as part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Cihan University–Erbil and the University of Lodz for the academic year 2025–2026, which aims to strengthen academic cooperation and promote the exchange of expertise between the two institutions.
