Cihan University–Erbil Students Explore the Diverse Cultural Regions of Monaco in France
As part of their ongoing cultural and academic activities, a group of students from Cihan University–Erbil, currently studying at SGGW University in Warsaw through the student exchange program, conducted an educational field visit to Monaco, France.
The visit took place on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, during which the students explored Monaco’s diverse cultural areas. The principality is regarded as one of Europe’s most prominent economic and tourism centers. The participating students were Ibrahim Zaki Mohammed Salih, a second-stage Physiotherapy student; Marwan Mohammed Ahmed, a second-stage Nutrition and Dietetics student; and Mohamed Ali Baktish, a third-stage Medical Laboratory Analysis student.
The trip began with a visit to Monaco’s captivating Mediterranean beaches, known for their beautiful scenery, clear waters, and lively coastal environment. The students then toured the Monte-Carlo district, a world-renowned destination for business, luxury tourism, and international investment. Another key stop was the iconic Monte-Carlo Casino and its surrounding area an international landmark frequently visited by global entrepreneurs, investors, and influential public figures.
Monaco is an independent principality located on the Mediterranean coast in Western Europe, and it is entirely surrounded by France.
