Cihan University-Erbil students in Poland are attempting to widen their contact network
On behalf of Cihan University-Erbil, a group of students visited the Iraqi Embassy in Warsaw to discuss the possibility of expanding the academic relationships between Cihan University-Erbil and other universities and scientific institutions.
Dr. Miqdad Ayub Mandalawi, the Iraqi ambassador in Poland, gave the students a hearty welcome. In the meeting, several academic topics were discussed such as the relations between Cihan University-Erbil and Polish universities in particular, as well as between Iraqi universities in general. The Iraqi Ambassador welcomed the students and expressed his satisfaction with the level of scientific relations between Cihan University-Erbil and the Polish universities, which allowed some student groups to take advantage of this opportunity and continue their studies.
The following Cihan University-Erbil students are presently studying in Poland: Moab Hassan Ali Murad from the Medical Biochemical Analysis Department; Omar Adel Abbas from the Business Administration Department; and Razan Raed Barani and Abdurrahman Yareeb Idris from the Biomedical Department.
However, during a meeting with Professor Dr. Katarzyna Świąder, director of international relations for the Faculty of Human Nutrition at Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Nian Osman Mohammad, a second-grade student in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Cihan University-Erbil who is currently studying in Poland, discussed the possibility of establishing a master’s program in English language within the department of nutrition and dietetics at the university.
