Cihan University-Erbil Students in Poland Conduct Official Visit to the Iraqi Embassy in Warsaw
On the sidelines of completing an academic course in the country, and within the framework of visiting various institutions and conducting meetings, a delegation of students from Cihan University-Erbil currently in Poland visited the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Iraq in Warsaw.
On Friday, November 29, 2025, the student delegation, consisting of Sidra Nihad Ishaq, Ria Amir Abduljabbar, and Avin Raad Mohammed (Fourth Stage, Business Administration Department), Ibrahim Zaki Mohammed Saleh (Second Stage, Physiotherapy Department), and Mohammed Ali Baktash (Third Stage, Medical Laboratory Analysis Department), paid an official visit to the embassy.
During the meeting with Mohammed Karim Jabbar, the cultural affairs officer at the embassy, and Mazen Mahmoud, assistant accounts manager, discussions focused on presenting the academic programs of Cihan University-Erbil and the active role the university plays in the development of international education. The students highlighted the university’s prestigious standing globally, within Iraq, and in the Kurdistan Region. They explained that Cihan University-Erbil is one of the most active academic institutions in Iraq regarding student mobility and sending students to leading foreign universities to study and gain global experience.
In response, Mohammed Karim Jabbar, the cultural affairs officer at the embassy. welcomed the students and expressed his pleasure at the presence of such a student delegation in Polish universities. He highly commended the initiatives and progress of Cihan University-Erbil, emphasizing the importance of expanding relations between academic centers in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region with international universities and institutions.
