Cihan University–Erbil Students Participate in Cultural Field Tour at Palacký University

On Thursday, February 5, 2026, in conjunction with their participation in the international scientific course “Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)” at Palacký University, the UP Welcome Office organized an official field activity for students from Cihan University–Erbil.

The activity, titled “City Tour,” included the participation of Hajer Mohamed Ali and Mohammed Nariman Salman from the Department of Physiotherapy; Mariwan Arab Omar from the Department of Radiological Imaging Technology; and Ali Maher Daoud from the Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis.

Conducted as part of the university’s international student support and orientation program, the tour aimed to introduce the students to the rich history of Olomouc while helping them integrate into the academic and cultural environment of Palacký University. During the excursion, the students visited key historical landmarks and cultural centers, gaining firsthand insight into the region’s architectural heritage. This experience enhanced their understanding of academic and social life in the Czech Republic.

In conclusion, the UP Welcome Office highlighted that such cultural and field activities play an important role in strengthening academic relations between universities. They provide an ideal environment for international students to adapt to their new educational settings while broadening their intellectual and cultural perspectives.
