Cihan University-Erbil Students Participate in Poland’s National and Independence Day Celebrations in Łódź

Seedra Nihad Isshaq and Avin Raad Mohammed, fourth-year students from the Department of Business Administration at Cihan University-Erbil, participated in the National and Independence Day celebrations of Poland held in the city of Łódź.

During the event, the Polish Army presented an extensive exhibition showcasing the latest military technologies, including drone systems, tactical equipment, and protective gear used in field operations. The Cihan University-Erbil students had the opportunity to closely observe these military displays and engage in discussions with military personnel about Poland’s defense capabilities.

The celebration, attended by families, students, and various members of Polish society, allowed the students to witness firsthand the patriotic spirit of the Polish people. It also provided a valuable opportunity for them to learn more about the history, sacrifices, culture, and perseverance of the Polish nation in its pursuit of freedom and national aspirations.

This participation took place under the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Cihan University-Erbil and the University of Łódź, which enables Cihan University students to complete part of their academic studies for the 2025–2026 academic year at the Polish university.
