Cihan University-Erbil Students Study Advanced English and Visit Hyde Park
On the second day of the specialized training program for Cihan University-Erbil students in the United Kingdom, held on June 30, 2026, at the IFG headquarters in Mandeville, the participating students continued their intensive academic program.
The morning session was delivered by Dr. John and focused on advanced English grammar. It aimed to strengthen the students’ linguistic foundations and enhance their practical understanding, enabling them to use English accurately and confidently in both spoken communication and academic writing.
Following the morning session, the students visited the renowned Hyde Park in central London. Organized as part of the program’s experiential learning approach, the visit provided students with the opportunity to apply their English skills in authentic social settings while exploring one of the British capital’s most iconic cultural and tourist landmarks.
Dr. Anas Al-Khouri, the students’ supervisor, emphasized the importance of balancing classroom instruction with experiential learning activities. He noted that such field visits help build students’ confidence in using English and broaden their international perspective.
