Cihan University–Erbil Students Successfully Complete English Language Training Program in London
On Friday, 10 July 2026, students from Cihan University–Erbil successfully completed their English language training program in London as part of the University’s international initiative to enhance students’ English language proficiency and provide them with valuable academic and cultural experiences in the United Kingdom.
During the closing ceremony, certificates of completion were awarded to Rayan Hussein Hassan (third-year student, Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences), Ali Maher Dawood (fourth-year student, Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis), Rekawt Abdullah Rasul (fourth-year student, Department of Computer Science), and Dr. Anas Al-Khouri in recognition of their successful completion of the program.
The certificates were presented by Dr. Mohammed Al-Nusairi and Mr. John, who congratulated the participants on their dedication and commitment throughout the course and wished them continued success in their academic and professional careers.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Dr. Anas Al-Khouri presented a Shield of Appreciation on behalf of Cihan University–Erbil to the International Foundation Group (IFG) in recognition of the institution’s valuable efforts in organizing the academic and English language training program, strengthening international academic cooperation, and providing an outstanding learning experience for the University’s students.
The training program was conducted under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Cihan University–Erbil and the International Foundation Group (IFG). Designed to maximize the academic and practical benefits for participants, the program included 30 hours of academic instruction at IFG’s prestigious centers, featuring three hours of daily English language training alongside specialized sessions on the British higher education system. In addition, the cultural component formed an integral part of the program, with visits to prominent historical and cultural landmarks in London and other cities across the United Kingdom, broadening the students’ global perspectives and enriching their overall international learning experience.
