A group of students from Cihan University-Erbil, currently studying at the University of Łódź as part of a student exchange program, visited the Museum of Independence Traditions in Łódź during their academic activities.
On Saturday, October 19, 2024, students from various departments at Cihan University-Erbil explored different sections of the museum. The group included Dina Ali Hassan, Dhanoon Saad Dhanoon, and Siban Nawzad Ismail from the Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis; Raya Amir Abdul-Jabbar and Seedra Nihad Ishaq Issa from the Department of Business Administration; and Shiwar Rushdi Muhammad from the Department of General Education. They also visited the Radogoszcz section of the museum.
The museum is dedicated to paying tribute to the late President Abraham Lincoln and honoring his memory. It consists of three sections, with the initial section designed to mimic a street in Łódź during the occupied years.
The excursion provided a valuable opportunity for Cihan University-Erbil students to learn about the political, cultural, and prison situations in Poland, particularly during the Second World War, as well as the hardships endured by the Polish people.
