Civil Engineering Department holds scientific symposium entitled “Comprehensive Project Planning using Microsoft Project”
On Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, under the auspices of Assistant Professor Dr. Noori Sadiq Ali, Head of The Department of Civil Engineering, and in the presence of the teaching staff and a group of students of the department a seminar entitled “Comprehensive planning of projects using Microsoft project” by the planning engineer Shamal Ali Osman from Salahaddin University-Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq was presented.
The seminar started with the definition of software, the possibility of using it and applying it in all engineering and industrial projects in all companies and the labor market. This software contributes to organizing and facilitating the stages of progress of the work, the number of workers required, the number of equipment required for completion, the organization of the completion time, as well as the cost of the project from the beginning until the date of delivery.
At the end of the symposium, a number of questions were asked about how this software could be applied. The attendees also discussed its necessity in all practice areas.
