College of Pharmacy Students Gain Exposure at Medico International Health Fair

As part of the exhibition, from Wednesday, February 5 to 8, 2025, Dr. Mohammed Aiden, Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Cihan University, organized a series of engaging activities for third-year pharmacy students at the Medico International Health Exhibition. The event featured the participation of students Yousif Ali, Yousif Sherjel, Shana Karim, and Hayat Nazar, who were guided by Laboratory Assistant Aya Qaisar. The objective of the initiative was to enhance the students’ scientific knowledge and provide them with valuable exposure to international healthcare events.

As part of the exhibition, the students presented a research poster conducted within the College of Pharmacy, focusing on the potential side effects of paracetamol when overused. The research is particularly relevant as paracetamol has become one of the most commonly used medications worldwide.

Throughout the four-day exhibition, several renowned personalities and medical professionals visited the student booth, where stimulating scientific discussions took place. The activity not only showcased the students’ research but also provided them with a unique platform to engage with experts in the field.
