On Thursday, October 8, 2026, the College of Pharmacy at Cihan University–Erbil organized a scientific field visit to the International Technology Exhibition (HITEX 2026), held at the Erbil International Fairground.

 A group of pharmacy students participated in the visit under the supervision of Laboratory Assistants Mamle Hama Abdalla and Aya Qaisar Ebrahim.

During the visit, students explored various exhibitions and interacted with representatives of technology companies showcasing digital platforms, software applications, artificial intelligence tools, and other technological innovations.

They learned how these technologies can support healthcare development, improve pharmaceutical services, facilitate medication management, and enhance communication and efficiency in professional practice.

The visit also provided students with opportunities to learn about emerging technologies, engage with exhibitors, ask questions, and deepen their understanding of the relationship between technological innovation and healthcare.

The visit provided students with valuable exposure to technological advancements beyond their academic curriculum. Such educational activities broaden students’ scientific knowledge, encourage innovation, and help prepare future pharmacists to adapt to the evolving needs of the healthcare sector.
