Community Health Nursing Department Students Visit Aesthetic Clinic in Erbil

On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, a group of second-year students from the Community Health Nursing Department at Cihan University – Erbil, under the supervision of Dr. Firas Ismail Mustafa, conducted a field visit to Dr. Nadia Jawdat Jabari’s Aesthetic Clinic in Erbil.

The supervising instructor and students were warmly received by Mr. Ali Hassan, a clinic staff member, who provided detailed information about the clinic’s daily operations. He also discussed professional safety procedures and infection control measures. Subsequently, he guided them on a tour of the clinic’s various departments, where they gained firsthand knowledge of patient care practices, sterilization procedures, and the safe handling of cosmetic tools and equipment. Furthermore, in collaboration with the supervising instructor, Mr. Ali Hassan explained potential occupational hazards and the preventative measures to minimize risks, highlighting one of the fundamental principles of community health nursing practice and occupational safety in a professional work environment.

At the end of the visit, Dr. Firas thanked Dr. Nadia, Mr. Ali, and the clinic staff for their hospitality, guidance, and for providing the students with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with a future working environment.
