Conducting a Seminar at Department of English
Assist. Lecturer Huda Yasin(one of the academic staff at department of English) presented a seminar entitled (A semiotic Analysis of Political Arabic Cartoons –A case Study of Iraqi Cartoons) to lecturers on 5th of Dec 2019. The presenter discussed many issues regarding semiotic analysis of political Arabic cartoons. This seminar aimed at revealing the structures and important features of political cartoons. By the end of the seminar, lecturers raised many questions and expressed their opinion about the topic which they found very interesting and valuable.
