Congratulations from the President of Cihan University-Erbil on Recent Scientific Achievements

Dear esteemed lecturers, researchers, inquisitive students, and members of the University Council,

I am delighted to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all of you on the remarkable scientific achievements that our university has accomplished in the past few days. Cihan University-Erbil has secured the top position among private universities in the Kurdistan Region in the latest Nature Index rankings for academic institutions. Furthermore, in the latest Webometrics ranking, Cihan University-Erbil has achieved a new record in citations, a remarkable achievement that reflects our commitment to advancing scientific knowledge.

These achievements mark a significant milestone for our university and bring us immense pride. I take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the lecturers, researchers, students, and staff and members of the university council. I wish to reaffirm our commitment to further progress and development. In the upcoming academic year, we will redouble our efforts to achieve even greater scientific feats and elevate our university’s standing on regional and global platforms. We shall remain at the forefront of universities in Kurdistan, Iraq, and beyond.
