Dental Technology Students Visit Masterpiece Dental Lab

As part of their efforts to enhance practical skills and connect academic study with field application, first-year students in the Dental Technology Department at Cihan University visited the Masterpiece Dental Lab on Thursday, January 22, 2026, under the supervision of Lecturer Hassan Faiz Abdullah. They were warmly received by Dr. Samer Abdo, the laboratory director.

The visit aimed to provide students with professional and scientific knowledge about the workflow in advanced laboratories and to introduce them to the latest technologies used in dental prosthetics, ensuring both functional and aesthetic efficiency. During the visit, the students observed practical procedures at various stages of dental prosthetic production, using modern equipment and materials. They also learned about the necessary personal protective equipment and safety procedures to follow during laboratory work. Dr. Samer Abdo provided a detailed explanation of the workflow in modern laboratories, outlining the essential stages of dental prosthetic manufacturing and answering students’ questions. This experience enhanced their practical skills and broadened their professional horizons.
