Department of Accounting Organized a Scientific Trip to the Silka Company in Erbil

On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, the Department of Accounting planned a scientific trip to Silka Company for fourth-stage students. The goal of this trip was to familiarize students with the working system and the relationship between the finance department and other departments. Under the supervision of Dr. Hashim Mohamed, they were warmly welcomed by Mr. Ahmad Shahab, the manager of Silka Company.

During the session, the students visited the finance department, and Mr. Yosif Sami, as the accountant of the company, briefed them about the ERP system which the company utilizes. He also explained how they prepare payroll, balance sheets, income statements, and trial balances.

Ms. Sima Abdurrahman, as the director of the design department, explained all operations in the design department to the students and the relationship between the design department and the finance department.
