DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING ORGANIZED A SCIENTIFIC VISIT TO MEDS STEEL LABORATORY

On 9 October 2022 (Sunday), the Department of Civil Engineering at Cihan University – Erbil, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Ms. Mais Abdulrazzaq Ibrahim, organized a scientific visit for the fourth-stage students to Meds Steel Laboratory in Erbil.
During the visit day, Mrs. Dalya Danesh Musa, welcomed Assistant Lecturer Ms. Mais Abdulrazzaq Ibrahim and the students.

Mrs. Dalya Danesh Musa, briefed students on several sections of the laboratory and the mechanisms used for manufacturing. The visit included learning about the initial processes of iron extraction, how to melt metals collected from the waste cars, and electric machines. The students were also given a theoretical study on special furnaces, iron sections of different shapes, sizes, roof reinforcement, and other construction.

At the end of the visit, Assistant Lecturer Ms. Mais Abdulrazzaq Ibrahim thanked Mrs. Dalya Danesh Musa for her assistance and guidance provided to the students.
