Department of Informatics and Software Engineering Students Conducted an Awareness Seminar on Artificial Intelligence at Cihan School

On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, fourth-year students from the Department of Informatics and Software Engineering at Cihan University-Erbil, Dalin Muhammad, Mirna Kamran, and Fatima Ahmed conducted an awareness seminar on artificial intelligence at Cihan School for students in grades 5 to 7. Upon arrival, they were warmly received by Mr. Mahmoud Imad, the school principal.

The seminar introduced the concept of artificial intelligence and its various real-world applications. The students presented practical examples of its use in fields such as education, healthcare, and modern technology.

They emphasized the importance of technological awareness among younger generations and inspired them to explore programming and artificial intelligence, both key pillars of the digital age.

The session witnessed strong engagement from the students, who showed keen interest in the topic and asked insightful questions about AI’s future and its impact on various aspects of life.
