DEPARTMENT OF MEDIA STUDENT PARTICIPATED IN THE FIRST PIONEERING WOMEN’S CONFERENCE
The Department of Media student Siri Sami Saleh, a third-stage student, participated in the first pioneering women’s conference that was held in the Turkish city of Yalova. The conference was held at Al Sharq Organization in culture, development, and media. Several figures, including politicians, jurists, academics, and prominent artists and media personalities in Iraqi society, participated in this conference.
The conference aims to support Iraqi women’s projects. In a meeting, the best participating projects have been announced. The conference endorses and supports this financial support to meet project goals and enable Iraqi women to achieve their goals and aspirations.
On the sidelines of the conference, a plastic art exhibition was held, in which the student Siri Sami Saleh participated, being one of the Iraqi plastic artists. She was honored during the conference for her artistic participation and continuous support for women’s issues and their development.
