Department of Nutrition and Dietetics Curriculum Appeals to Faculty Members of Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Poland
Ahmad Jabar Hassan, a second-year student in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, actively engages in enhancing the department’s scientific relations alongside his academic pursuits. As part of this effort, on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, he engaged in a meeting with Assistant Professor Dr. Arkadiusz Szpicer, a lecturer in the Department of Technique and Food Product Development at Warsaw University of Life Sciences, SGGW, Poland.
During the meeting, the focus was on exploring collaborative programs in the realm of nutrition and dietetics. Dr. Arkadiusz Szpicer commended the programs offered by Cihan University-Erbil in the field, describing them as modern and noteworthy. The discussion extended to laboratory procedures and equipment essential for specialized food testing. Dr. Szpicer provided examples of crucial equipment required for these purposes.
Simultaneously, Ahmad Jabar Hassan actively participated in the Food Allergens Laboratory, dedicated to the fundamentals of ELISA and PCR testing. In this setting, he conducted an experiment comparing the advantages and disadvantages of both methods. Subsequently, he presented the experiment’s results to the relevant subject teacher. This active involvement demonstrates Ahmad Jabar Hassan’s commitment to practical application and the advancement of scientific knowledge within the field of nutrition and dietetics.
