Department of Physiotherapy Therapy Visited the Beautiful Mind Center for Psychological Consultation

Within a series of activities and events of the Department of Physiotherapy of Cihan University – Erbil, fourth-stage students of the aforementioned department, under the supervision of Dr. Zina Nabeel, on 17 October 2022 (Monday) made a field visit to the Beautiful Mind Center for Psychological Consultation and the psychiatric clinic of Dr. Zina Nabeel.

The activities included visiting the departments of the center including seeing various psychological and clinical tests related to mental illnesses such as anxiety, depression, and autism. The event also involved watching a scientific movie on schizophrenia and autistic disorder.

Such a field visit is important for physical therapy students to enrich their psychological support skills, as most patients require this type of psychological treatment in addition to physical therapy.
