THE DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING ORGANIZED A SCIENTIFIC VISIT TO FLORIA CITY

On 18 October 2022 (Tuesday), the Department of Civil Engineering at Cihan University-Erbil organized a scientific visit for Civil Engineering students to Floria City residential project accompanied by Assistant Lecturer Ms. Mais Abdul Razzaq Ibrahim.

Assistant Lecturer Ms. Mais Abdul Razzaq Ibrahim and the students were welcomed by Mr.  Ziryan Ibrahim Bilal. Mr. Ziryan Ibrahim Bilal introduced the sections of the project and various stages of implementation to the students. He also explain on ways to compacting the soil, foundations, cutting ,and bending reinforcement steel. He also explained on Floria City is one of the huge projects in Erbil where the area of the project is 645 thousand square meters and contains 13 thousand residential units of various types where it includes villas, apartments, and shops. During the trip, students received useful information about the different project works and how to coordinate between the workers in order to complete the work as required.

At the end of the visit, Assistant Lecturer Ms. Mais Abdul Razzaq Ibrahim thanked Mr. Ziryan Ibrahim Bilal   for providing this opportunity to the students and wished him success.
