On Monday, February 9, 2026, third-stage students from the Department of English Language at Cihan University–Erbil conducted an educational activity at Zanst Elementary School focused on stress management and student motivation. The visit was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Rozhin Hossein Hossini and was warmly received by Mr. Hussein Abdullrahman Abood and the school staff.
The session began with an interactive discussion during which the university students shared educational quotes and practical tips to help young learners manage stress, stay motivated, think positively, and overcome academic challenges. Key topics included defining stress and its effects on students, identifying common sources of stress in school, and understanding the importance of maintaining a positive mindset. The students emphasized strategies such as maintaining hope, focusing on success, and preparing effectively for exams.
The activity also highlighted practical techniques to support students in their academic journey, including time management strategies, exam preparation tips, mindfulness exercises, and relaxation techniques. Participants were encouraged to reflect on personal challenges and apply problem-solving strategies to foster self-confidence and resilience.
