
First Cohort of Cihan University-Erbil Students for the 2026-2027 Academic Year Departs from Erbil International Airport for Poland

On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the first cohort of Cihan University-Erbil students departed from Erbil International Airport for Poland to undertake an academic course for the 2026-2027 academic year under the university’s international exchange program.
The cohort consisted of two students from medical and health disciplines: Ahmed Mohammed Kamal, a second-stage student in the Department of Medical Microbiology; and Mina Hussein Karim, a fourth-stage student in the Department of Biomedical Sciences. They will complete a full academic term at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
This departure follows an orientation session attended by the students’ families, which was held during the preceding week and organized by Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil. During the session, he outlined key academic, social, and cultural directives to ensure effective representation.
Over the past five years, Cihan University-Erbil has facilitated the participation of more than 80 students from various academic stages and departments in study programs in Poland.
