Fourth Match of the Indoor Volleyball League: Impressive Victory of the Anesthesia Techniques Department Students over the Software Engineering and Informatics Department Students
The match was played on Sunday, November 30, 2025, in the university’s indoor hall as part of the inter-department volleyball championship. The atmosphere was full of excitement, energy, cheering, and continuous support from the audience, which made the match even more intense.
In the first set, the Anesthesia Techniques Department team could not perform as expected due to the late arrival of key players. Therefore, the Software Engineering Department team won the set 25–14.
The situation remained the same in the second set, with the Anesthesia Techniques Department team still not playing at their usual level. The Software Engineering Department team continued their organized play and won the set 25–20.
The third set, however, changed the direction of the match. After the full lineup of the Anesthesia Techniques Department team was on the court, their performance improved greatly. Their defense became stronger, their attacks more organized, and the coordination between players more effective. In a close and exciting set, they managed to win 25–23.
In the fourth set, the match became even more exciting, with loud cheering and high pressure on both teams. After nearly two hours of play, the Anesthesia team showed better focus and stronger determination, winning the set 27–25 and taking the match to a deciding fifth set.
In the fifth and final set, the Software Engineering Department team started strongly, but the coach for the Anesthesia Techniques Department team made important tactical changes that helped the team regain confidence. The supporters also played a big role, motivating the players like a “seventh teammate.”
With solid teamwork and great effort, the Anesthesia Techniques Department won the final set 15–8, completing a remarkable comeback and qualifying for the championship final against the winner of the Physical Education & Sport Sciences Department team and the Medical Chemical Analysis Department team.
It was a memorable victory for the Anesthesia Techniques Department team, turning a 0–2 deficit into a strong 3–2 win.
