Fourth stage students in Nutrition and Dietetics department visit local markets

On the 28th of Feb 2022, under the supervision of Mrs.Raghad Jomard, the fourth stage students in the Nutrition and Dietetics Department have visited Blan Bazar, one of the biggest local supermarkets in Erbil, to introduce the available food item and compare the nutritional posters on it and check if it is suitable with its nutritional value and how much it is attractive for the consumers. Besides, they check all the commercial posters on the market and evaluate the nutritional facts for the products.

These activities are part of the assessment for the students in the Practical Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics model. Also, these activities can help the students to connect their knowledge with practice in the labor markets.
