Fourth-Year Informatics and Software Engineering Students Visit Clean Energy Solar Company

On Sunday, 7 December 2025, the Department of Informatics and Software Engineering at Cihan University–Erbil organized a scientific visit for fourth-year students to Clean Energy Solar Company. The visit was supervised by Asst. Prof. Ghassan A. Qas Marrogy.

The students were received by Engineer Karwan Akam Hussein, the supervisor of the Solar Energy Department at the company, who provided a detailed explanation of the importance of software systems in managing and measuring energy capacity in homes, particularly within solar energy projects. He also clarified how companies rely on software to monitor energy production, analyze data, and ensure the efficiency of operational systems.

The visit included insightful scientific discussions, during which students asked questions about measurement mechanisms, data collection methods, and the significance of integrating software with modern energy systems. This experience offered them valuable exposure to real-world applications of their field within the renewable energy sector.
