On the occasion of the New Year (2026), I extend my warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to each of you. I hope this year brings prosperity and boundless achievements to our university, the Kurdish people, and all citizens across Iraq and abroad.

Ladies and Gentlemen; the past year has been a remarkable milestone for Cihan University-Erbil, characterized by honor and collective dedication. Through our combined efforts, we have made significant strides in enhancing educational quality, advancing scientific research, and strengthening our university’s position in global rankings. These accomplishments are the direct result of the commitment of our distinguished faculty, the incessant and persistent efforts of our staff, and the academic excellence of our students.

In the coming year, our strategic objective is to further advance our scientific and technological infrastructure, with a particular focus on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI). We aim to foster an environment conducive to innovation, ensuring that our university continues to serve as a leading center of knowledge and excellence for our society and nation.

I sincerely hope that the New Year will be a time of realized aspirations, marked by peace and political, economic, and social stability throughout the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
