General Directorate of Health appreciates the Presidency of Cihan University-Erbil

General Directorate of Health in Erbil expressed his thanks through Erbil Blood Bank Directorate to the Presidency of Cihan University-Erbil for its continuous cooperation and assistance to the health sector.

In this regard, the management of Blood Bank Directorate delivered a letter of appreciation signed by Dr. Sana Ababakr Argushi, Director of Erbil Blood Bank directorate to the lecturers and students of Cihan University-Erbil. They demonstrated their gratitude them who participated in the blood donation campaign supervised by Dr Amina Sabah, the head of Microbiology Department.

The Department of Medical Microbiology, Cihan University-Erbil in collaboration with the Blood Bank Directorate conducts blood donation campaigns once or twice a year in order to bring this activity to public attention and encourage volunteering habit among students in particular and to serve the community in general.

This year like previous years, two huge blood donation campaigns were held in the campus of Cihan University-Erbil. Besides, different groups of students visited the Blood Bank and donated blood.
